Above, I am standing on the south hill, looking west. The two long bridges in the foreground carry I-476 over the I-76 Schuylkill Expressway. About one mile of I-76 was rebuilt when the interchange was built.
Above, I am standing on the south hill in the same spot as the previous photo, looking north. The two long bridges on the left carry I-476 over the I-76 Schuylkill Expressway. I-476 passes through a cut about 50 feet deep in the north hill.
Above, I am standing on the south hill in the same spot as the previous photo, looking north. The two bridges in the center carry I-76 over the ramp from I-76 eastbound to I-476 northbound, plus a local off-ramp. The towns of West Conshohocken and Conshohocken are visible. The 3-mile section of I-476 from the I-76 interchange to Ridge Pike opened in 1979. These photo were taken in 1978. I-476 from I-76 southward to I-95 at Chester opened in 1991.
